Students can begin lessons with me anytime, all year round!

I offer different tuition and registration plans for kids/teens and adults because these students have different needs. Adult students, find your pricing here. 

Pricing for Kids and Teens

Your child's lesson tuition includes:

• Three types of "meetings" with me
  • private lessons at your regular weekly time during fall and spring semester teaching weeks.
  • one group class per semester to build friendships and ensemble skills.
  • one studio recital per semester to joyfully share our performances with each other.
  • In addition to these 3 guaranteed types of meetings, I often offer additional class and recital opportunities (such as student duets and trios, classes with guest teachers, community concerts).
• Up to 4 hours of consultation with parents/caregivers when it's time to rent, buy, or upgrade your child's instrument, or to discuss any needs or concerns.
• If your child needs to miss a lesson during a teaching week, 1 free makeup lesson during the designated makeup week.
• Personalized written practice assignments.
• Personalized music book recommendations.
• Personalized arrangements of music your child wants to play.

Why is pricing “per meeting” rather than “per lesson”?

In addition to lessons, your child will learn from me at group classes and studio recitals. I include these opportunities in your semester tuition because I believe they are essential to each student’s success and learning. Lessons, classes, and recitals are all “meetings” with me, and a 17-week Semester includes at least 19 meetings with me. Often, there are more than 19 meetings per semester, but I guarantee at minimum 19.

Fall Semester (17 weekly lessons, 1 group class, 1 studio recital = 19 meetings)
Weekly lessons September through January
No lessons during Thanksgiving weekend or Winter break 

Spring Semester (17 weekly lessons, 1 group class, 1 studio recital = 19 meetings)
Weekly lessons January through June
No lessons during February Break, April Break, or Memorial Day weekend

Summer Lesson Packages (availability changes each summer)
Summer 2024: I am available for some weeks in June, July, and August. Choose the weeks and number of lessons that work for you! This is a great opportunity to try a few lessons in my studio before committing to a full 17 weeks of lessons in the Fall Semester. 

What is the payment schedule?

When your child joins my studio, you make a commitment to the entire 17-week semester, or whatever portion of the semester remains when you sign up. (For example, if you join in October there may be 14 weeks remaining in the fall semester.)

Because this can feel like a big commitment, I invite students to meet me for a trial lesson first. 

Tuition for Fall and Spring Semester is paid in 2 ways. Choose what is best for you.

• Pay in full, due August 20 or January 20, or whenever you join an ongoing semester.

OR

• 1st installment August 20 or January 20, 2nd installment due October 1 or March 1, 3rd installment due November 1 or April 1. (Installment payments are also available if your child joins after the semester has begun. )

Tuition for Summer Lesson Packages is always Paid in full before summer lessons begin. 

What payment methods do you accept?

Payment can be made via Venmo, Zelle, cash, or check made out to Weronika Balewski and mailed to 63A Plympton St, Waltham, MA 02451. I do not accept credit cards or PayPal at this time.
