Students can begin lessons with me anytime, all year round! After meeting me at a trial lesson, you can register for a Lesson Package (5 or 10 lessons on your schedule), or the more intensive Fall or Spring Semester (17 weekly lessons).
If you are looking for a smaller commitment and flexibility, consider a Lesson Package.
Your Lesson Package of 5 or 10 lessons includes:
- 5 or 10 private lessons (30, 45, or 60 min long) at a regular lesson time.
- Lesson frequency is flexible. Choose weekly lessons, every other week lessons, or lessons every 3-4 weeks. For example, Tuesdays at 7pm every 3 weeks.
- Schedule all 5 or 10 lessons before you purchase the lesson package. If you need to change a lesson time which is already scheduled, I cannot guarantee I’ll be available, but I’ll do my best to adjust if I can. Most of my adult students begin with a 5 lesson package to get to know my studio, and then renew with 10 lesson packages.
- Personalized practice assignments which fit your life.
- Personalized music book recommendations.
- Personalized arrangements of music you want to play (songs you’ve know, music you’ve heard) to supplement your music book.
- Up to 4 hours of consultation when it’s time to rent, buy, or upgrade your instrument, or to discuss any needs or concerns.
- Optional studio recital each December and May.
- Additional performance and enrichment opportunities as available (group class with other adult students, chamber music with other adult students, community events).
If you are looking for a more intensive lesson schedule, consider Semester Tuition.
Your Semester Tuition of 17 weekly lessons includes:
- 17 private lessons at your regular weekly time during fall and spring semester teaching weeks.
- All of the features of a lesson package described above.
- A discount on the pricing you see listed on this page.
- PLUS: If you need to miss a lesson during a teaching week, 1 free makeup lesson during the designated makeup week. Makeup lessons are available for semester tuition only, not the lesson packages described above.

What is the payment schedule?
When you join my studio, you make an up-front commitment of 5 or 10 lessons, or an entire 17-week semester.

Tuition for Lesson Packages
- Due in full 3 days before your first lesson.
Tuition for Fall and Spring Semester is paid in 2 ways. Choose what is best for you.
- Pay in full, due August 20 or January 20, or whenever you join an ongoing semester.
OR
- 1st installment August 20 or January 20, 2nd installment due October 1 or March 1, 3rd installment due November 1 or April 1. (Installment payments are also available if you join after the semester has begun. )
What payment methods do you accept?
Payment can be made via Venmo, Zelle, cash, or check made out to Weronika Balewski and mailed to 63A Plympton St, Waltham, MA 02451. I do not accept credit cards or PayPal at this time.
